At RHA, an evidence-based curriculum is at the heart of everything we do. We follow a thematic approach to support the long-term memory development of our pupils.

Our new synthetic phonics scheme is proving to be successful in developing the fundamental parts of learning to read alongside phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension at a faster pace. This is allowing our children who have joined us with previous difficulties and barriers to learning to progress on their lifelong learning journey and re visit key concepts to ensure retention and development.
