Alongside the curriculum, RHA offer pastoral support which include a variety of strategies and interventions to support the building of self-esteem, regulating emotions, socialisation, and life skills. Intervention time is built into all pupils timetables to ensure that all pupils have designated time to support their wellbeing. We also have a designated sensory room for our pupils to access and further support can be arranged as necessary for the individual.
RHA are a small school which allows for building relationships with pupils in order to enhance their learning and development experience.
RHAAP are committed to their safeguarding responsibilities. All staff are fully trained and up to date with their responsibilities in regard to safeguarding, PREVENT and the SEND code of practice.
We are proud to have a Mental Health Champion within our small team and a Mental Health First aider.
